This book is really well done, from the writing, to the narration and production, this is a quality and entertaining audiobook. The narration is creative with the dual narrators. Both did an amazing job of bringing the characters to life. I must say, its refreshing to here a woman’s (Becket Royce) portrayal of a young woman, than that masculine voice of Mr. Pierce trying to do the same. The combination of the two is perfect!
The author does a fantastic job of character and storyline development, I really enjoyed this book and will definitely be getting the sequel… the only caveat is that the book lacks excitement most of the time. In the author’s defense, he explains why, and took a more realistic approach to a SHTF scenario. As a post- apoc genre lover, I’d still recommend this to anyone, and I’m assuming the follow-up will be even better as we were left w/ quite a build up.
