I *adored* this story, I only wish it was longer! Cosmo is an absolutely magical ray of sunshine who swoops in at the 11th hour to rescue Lord Barney Greenwood from financial ruin at Christmas. Cosmo brings magic with him and makes everyone – from the grumpy cook to the angry villagers to Barnaby himself – happier, kinder, and more full of Christmas spirit. I would have liked to have seen a bit more exploration of the darkness of the Green Wood or the darker side of Magic or even more info on the barrow and the ancient king but this sweet story was enough as it was. Excellent narration by Joel Leslie as usual, even if his voice for Cosmo wasn’t my favorite. Can’t wait to read this again next December.
