Still thinking about the complexities in this novel! It was excellent.
When I first chose this audiobook I was a little concerned the political manipulation might be too depressing. I’m pleased to say I was so wrong. The story is terrific. Very well done, well written, and suspenseful–every page suspenseful. Within a couple of chapters I was hooked, needing to know what was going to happen next.
Two men, running for the senate. The men behind their campaigns will do whatever it takes for their candidate to win. That is, ALMOST anything. Someone appears to have no lines he won’t cross. Will the truth come out before the election?
Loved it. The audio is excellent with Andrew Tell narrating. I will be looking for more books by Mr. Ellis and narrator Andrew Tell. It is very fast paced, with so many twists and starts it will keep you clinging to the story right to the end.
Do listen to it or read it. You won’t be disappointed. It’s a great thriller!
