What made the experience of listening to A Witch’s Path the most enjoyable?
I enjoy the main character and it’s fun to carry on with the paranormal creatures.
What did you like best about this story?
Ilike Michelles sassiness.
Have you listened to any of Jeff Hays’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I purchased the first book in this series so I would be up to speed when I started this one. That was my first experience listening to Jeff’s narration. I listened to the audio sample and liked the narration and went from there. When I saw a males name as the narrator I thought maybe there was more than one option and I picked a different version to sample. I mean, the sample I listened to was clearly a chics voice… I started the book and was pleasantly pleased to find out it really was a male narrator and he performed Michelles voice really really good! The masculine characters were also clearly masculine. I am rather particular about listening to stories that have female characters performed by females. I don’t like to hear a story with a female lead character ruined with a deep male voice that goes all high pitched as if women really sound like that and overuse inflection when we talk. This is probably the first time (and I have over 500 audiobooks) that I have enjoyed a female character narrated by a man. He’s awesome.
