This was my first experience with this this author’s work. I thought the book was entertaining; however, I felt like the story was more of a psychological thriller with supernatural elements than an actual horror story. Throughout the story I never trusted Robin Griffiths’ point-of-view, and she seemed broken by her past which made her perceptions suspect in my mind. I didn’t perceive any true horror elements until the very end of the story. I enjoyed Mary Phillips’ narration as her performance enhanced the story’s entertainment. I was given a copy of the audiobook. I volunteered, without financial gain, to post this review which reflected my honest opinions regarding this audiobook.
