This is the story of the life of Sybil Van Antwerp – her relationships, loves and regrets as told through the lost art of letter writing. The characters are multi generational giving the reader multiple points of view. I really enjoyed the spattering of letters and replies of real authors and famous people. The readers for this audible version are outstanding which added so much depth to my enjoyment of this novel.
