I truly loved this book. The writing is excellent. The characters are so vividly portrayed by Ms. Evans through the letters. Such an interesting way to take us through the life of Sybil. I’m glad I listened to it instead of reading it. Hearing each person’s voice as they read their letters really makes the story come to life. It’s like eavesdropping on their innermost thoughts. The story was wonderful! I not only loved Sybil but I understood her. We gradually witness her discovery of her real family and how she faces the tragedies of the past. And, then, we share her joy in her long, painful reconciliation. Thank you, Audible, for the cast of narrators you chose to tell this remarkable story.
