I really liked this book. I started to give this story less than a 5 star all around but I really couldn’t find a reason. yeah it was short but it was really well done. Great characters, lots of action, great narration, and a typical dystopian plot – the good guys battle to remove the boot misery on their throat. The main character is a hard guy with lots of baggage from the past before the apocalypse started. Now that is a story that hits the ground running. We quickly start relating to this flawed guy and his noble quest to make life better for the women and children. The action is fast paced and brutal – a very enjoyable book – can’t wait for the next round!
