It’s a good story, but the ending is anticlimactic to say the least. It’s almost as though the author was on a deadline and rushed to a HEA. In two books, none of the characters were really developed. In the end, the MFC just accepted what was handed to her, even though she had all the power. This story could have been so much more, even if it wouldn’t have ended in a HEA.
