A monsters tale from the perspective of a mimic chest is an interesting premise and the author uses the traditional mimic chest in some imaginative ways. Unfortunately, it’s written with a teenager-esque immaturity, crudeness and attempts at humor.
The audiobook is voiced by Jeff Hays, one of the best in the business but it doesn’t stop this vaguely interesting book from falling to it’s failures.
