The performances are very good, and the main storyteller does a great job of conveying her personality and making it hard to sympathize with her at first. And I think that’s the point. Like a lot people you may casually know and make assumptions about, once you know them more you realize we all carry some sort of baggage that colors how we interact with everyone. I think this book delivers on that principle.
