There is so much to love about this story. It’s not perfect, but it’s damn good. It took a minute to get rolling and there is a lengthy denouement to finish, but oh man, this one pilles at me. I cried. I got emotional about characters. I stayed up late for more. This is a Rivero g tale of one family’s struggles through family and political warfare. I very much enjoyed it.
