What a terrific story! The first in the Joe Tesla series makes me anxious to read more. Difficult enough to imagine how it would feel to be agoraphobic. Add the NYC tunnels to the mix and you have all you need for an intriguing suspense thriller. Rebecca Cantrell paints a vivid scene from the brick wall to the chases deep into the tunnels. Lots of fun twists as you follow along wondering what is ahead in the dark.
The dark tunnels many levels below the ground, fast moving trains with little space for unwanted pedestrians, scientists and the CIA, both after something Joe doesn’t have.
You will enjoy spending time with Joe Tesla and yellow dog, Edison. You will also feel a part of the tension agoraphobia brings. Lastly you will be glad to get above ground once more when the story ends.
Book two is already in my cart. Looking forward to more in the series. You can read my full review on Mystery Suspense Reviews.
