I wanted more of the details about the life lived between the letters, but that is the mastering of the author at play: she gives you *just* enough to experience the depth of this life lived. I loved it so much- it’s been my favorite read this year. I plan to add a hard copy to my shelf so I can reference it for the literary recommendations later, AND so it can live forever within arms’ reach to marvel and re-read. Incredibly moving. And with a nod to forgotten practices and all this push to go back to “the analog life,” I may just start writing more letters again… What a gift.
