This is not for the faint of heart because the author does a great job describing what would happen when the world ended. We meet the main characters who are stranded like everyone else with the goal of getting home. We follow each of the main characters as they begin to learn how to survive in the new world. Along the way we begin to learn the bigger story of what is happening in the world. The story gives us a great look at what the world will face if an EMP happened either by solar flash or nuke. Everyone had to adjust to the new world and it’s not pretty as people have to make decisions they wouldn’t make otherwise.
