This story… it’s like you took The Hunger Games, Sword Art Online, Bender and Eddie’s secret love child, put it in a bag with a rabid animal and some illicit substances and shook it, but in the best possible way. It’s a progression sci-fi/fantasy story that is 100% for adults only, it’s a brain bubblegum story that you can listen to knowing the MC’s have plot armor and you can relax and enjoy the insanity without worry for their lives. Sanity is iffy. I enjoyed every moment of it, and am on book 2 as I write this review.
