I am feeling very discontent after finishing Mr. Collins in Love. The story ends very abruptly and leaves me feeling unsatisfied, as if someone has ripped the last quarter of the pages from my book. Lee Welch is an incredibly talented author, and I’ve absolutely loved their other books. Joel Leslie is, of course, the pinnacle of perfection when it comes to audiobooks and accents. I can’t figure out why the author ended this story as abruptly as they did. Also, on a side note, I thought it was extremely odd that Mr. Collins never considers his sexuality at all. Not that anyone enjoys book with an MC beating themselves over the head for being queen, but it’s as if the man never grasped the fact that he was romantically attracted to Jem at all. In hindsight, it’s a very bizzare way to be “Mr. Collins in love”.
