I love the various voices, combat sounds, and most importantly the musical lute. Every scene was so impressive and the voices even more so. Cur was my favorite voice / character, but Garvis was right there with him. Not to mention Screenie, he has an amazing voice as well. Danny was pretty standard for an MC so its kind of sad not giving him as much credit. His voice was getting better at singing during the audio which is in line with his characters skills so I hope that the voice actor’s singing voice improves as Danny levels. And the romance was so well done mixing action and love, making it even more memorable. And Lilla is a character I hope we see more of. Her interaction with Danny was one of my favorite parts of this book. Mixing resentment and love was so much fun to listen to. The story felt like they had to have a purpose or quest to progress so it kind of felt linear. Like they were walking a predetermined path. But that path was fun and full of twists. Not saying that’s bad but I’m also worried about where they could go from here you know? What happens at the end of the path? will the story end? That’s kind of how I feel.
