I listened to Dungeon Crawler Carl mostly while working and driving, and it was the perfect high-energy audiobook. Even when I zoned out, I was entertained every time I tuned back in.
The narration is amazing. the voices and timing completely sell the humor. I love Carl and I love Donut even more. Hearing the thoughts of a cat is so funny.
I occasionally wanted more physical description, and most side characters didn’t stick with me. It didn’t hit super hard emotionally, but for pure entertainment, this delivers. Already continuing the series
