Absurd, yet somehow heartwarming.

This series continues to impress. Absolutely ludicrous plotline, but absolutely lovable characters that I found myself rooting for at every turn.

The plotline in this one, including the big finale, draws very heavily on the continued story from book two. It’s a satisfying, if a little confusing, conclusion.

I’d say my only downside is the “outside the dungeon” storyline. The author obviously has a very fleshed out idea of the in-story universe, but that’s not always clearly laid out and I found myself confused a lot on the galactic who’s who and how they fit.

Still, there are dinosaurs, explosions, and a truly epic battle so I was far from disappointed.
