Was enjoying this novel more than the first two of the series up until the second assassination attempt. One could not suspend one’s disbelief enough to swallow the absurdity of the assassins plan. The facility is locked down by thousands of police, FBI , Secret Service, Air Force fighters, helicopters, and yet they let an unvetted worker in a jump suit into the very floor of POTUS with what might as well have been a large black spare with BOMB painted on the side with a burning fuse! Then the bad guy escapes through thousands of heavily armed FBI agents, soldiers, SWAT teams, Secret Service dudes without a shot being fired as the debris from the just blown up seventh floor drifts to the ground! Please!
