Wonderful bwwm shifter (cougar male) addition to the Cascade series. The enemies are humans that don’t want shifter & humans to inter marry… Sounds like Jim Crow & LOVING situation.. I have a slight tiny (hatred for bwwm pregnancy romances) But, Jessie Donovan did an EXCELLENT job making the situation an important part of the series story. Bravo.. I can’t wait to find out if the dentist will be allowed to stay once the baby is born.. She will not have shifter DNA in her bady anymore so what will happen??. Will the human justice dept. separate a child from the mother??? THIS IS worth the credit/money.. Thank you Jessie Donovan for inclusion & diversity in you paranormal stories. ..I Will definitely purchase the WHOLE series. BTW this story was a good stand alone and the sex scenes are slightly r rated with some kink.. ( well I felt it was kinky) Still worth a listen but, too short.. Bravo again..
