All good, but annoyed by the Esper character.

I love the stories, took a while to get through it. Found myself bored throughout most of the missions. Esper(spelling?) annoyed the heck out of me. It’s bad enough the action in the series was softcore. I just didn’t see the point of having her after the first mission. I’m not even going to start about my 2nd least favorite character KuBu(spelling?). I am a little critical because I’m a fan of hardcore space novels. The story wasn’t bad but as a Veteran and trucker with 1000’s of listening hours….I kinda expected more….more action, more kills, more rewards even if it was based on luck. Carl my favorite character next to Roddy was awesome. If you’re expecting a fast paced action pack space novel, this is not it. But if you’re looking for something easy going, funny, magical and light hearted for the most part this is definitely it.
