it was like there was a meeting to come up with as many “impossible” situations as they could think up and then the author put every single one of them in the book. this causes the book to be choppy, confusing and very unsatisfying. so many things (more so than what has become normal for this series) were brought into the story and then just died after the intro. the weird relationship with Carl and milk makes zero sense and never got explained or used in any way. the drama is not necessary with so many crazy things going on. my advice would be to pull it way back and be more thorough with the good ideas. too many bad ideas that were really not necessary.
