The whole book is just so …. wrong. The characters in no way behave like normal people would, things don’t work the way they do in the real world, and it just doesn’t make sense. No one behaves like this when a child goes missing – not the parents, not the cops – so all logic you would associate with a mystery is wiped away.
I’m so sorry no one gave an honest review to warn me, but here it is. It’s so shallow that it’s not really a book, more an imitation of a book. It isn’t a whodunit, it’s why did I buy it.
