The first one is highly entertaining. The second one was off to a good start, but the middle was bogged down by what I can only describe as a teenage melodramatic love story. I nearly DNF’d but decided to stick it out to the end. I am glad I did; the ending saved the book for me and gives me hope for what’s to come in the series.
