Really varied stories, well read. Excellent writing, true to form. The setup is great. One short chapter introducing the monster or elder gods in a short chapter and then followed up by a long single chapter concentrating on it. Really cool intro and well written, modern horror. One (the only) super annoying thing: the chapters are not named but numbered. I want to find easily a chapter on a specific subject and cant find it. the two books – Lovecraft Gods and Lovecraft’s Monters make this even more stupid. This plays directly against one of the book’s strengths because multiple listens are great for a work of this type.
