Best DCC since the 1st one!! I love these books because there is no luls in the action. Throughout this whole book there is always something happening to keep your attention. Lots of books keep all the action for the last 10% which i can respect but these go so hard the whole time, and then the ending are even more!
I love how these books are turning into less about the crawl its self and the galactic entertainment and more about the people and culture and saying 🖕🏼 to the government and the rich and greedy.
I cried when donut was doing her talent show singing the song that Bea used to sing to her. Jeff Hays is amazing and really makes this come to life!! I then cried again at the end of the battle when Carl was making his speech to everyone watching! What a powerful moment.
Its hard getting attached to characters knowing that death and destruction is the only end. All these people working together to push as many to the next floor as possible! Humans are a resilient bunch and Matt Dinnimin really shows us this in his writings. Rip Miriam Dom and Farez! But Katya oh Katya, this will only end badly.
