I loved this so much. my favorite line, “i dont know when we graduated from handshakes to motorboating” hahahaha. so good. This was a duet narration, all in Jamie’s POV. Was it easy to figure out who the killer was? yeah. kind of. by chapter 16 i was certain, and i was correct. or mostly correct. was i at the edge of my seat, biting my nails? yes. was i tempted to skip ahead or look up spoilers like I would watching a horror movie? also yes. this was quite the ride. super enjoyable. I didnt have any issues hearing Patrick Zeller. if you know his narration style, that is just how he talks. its very effective when there is more spice, let me tell you what. this was a very low spice book. its high everything else though. high spice wouldnt make sense considering everyone is dying or trying to survive. There is an HEA for Jamie, Laurie and Jamie’s successful “date”.
