🎧 Audiobook review 🎧
Honestly, if I had been new to LitRPG, I might have liked this book a lot more. 🙏🏻 But I’m a seasoned LitRPG reader who has read many Korean and Japanese isekai/dungeon books and Dungeon Crawler Carl brings nothing too new or unique to the table. 😅 If anything, it falls a bit short in comparison to other trailblazers like Sword Art Online, Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint, Solo Leveling, etc etc. Yes, I’m talking about the novels, not the manga/manhwa or anime.

BUT I’ll rate this as the first Western (I guess) LitRPG I’ve read. It was really adventurous, witty and fun. 😁 I think if I hadn’t read this as an audiobook but normally, the rating might have been lower. The audio was really good – there was only one narrator but he was able to differentiate the voices for different characters really well. 💕

It got a lot better in the last 8 chapters and really boosted the rating for me so I’m guessing the other books might be better since the world building has been well established. 🤔 I might consider picking up the next book in the series but I’m in no hurry for it.
