I love Carl, I adore Donut. I will buy every book that ever comes out. I just wish he could add a bit more humor like the first couple of books. I get it. Stakes are adding up. Lots of people are constantly dying. I’ve had to restrict my re-listening of these books to make sure I’m in the right mood to hear the story. Let me reiterate. These books are brilliant and amazing. Just toughen up, buttercup. This shit gets real.
