I did enjoy this book and am glad that there are more and more books written about people that are not “perfect” by society standards. I love how the heroine defends and provides strong support for the hero but I guess it wouldn’t be too much of a hardship when he is such a heart throb :). At the same time I found the story entertaining I also found it a bit silly. The premise of having an older brother who controlled their every move and ALWAYS having all the pieces to his plans fall right into place was just over stretching it a bit for me. There was more silliness but if I give examples, I would be giving the story away so I will leave it up to anyone still interested in reading the story to discover them for themselves. If you absolutely are looking for something good to read, then you won’t go wrong with Laura Kinsale books. A much better way to spend your time my friend.
