Ryan has furthered the development of several characters in this latest installment, as well as providing a multi-layered story. I also liked that the case was solved without an extended and detailed confession by the murderer at what appeared to be the moment of triumph – when the evidence or the hero(ine) would be rendered useless. Can’t wait for the next book in the series!
