Matt Dinniman does a phenomenal job setting the stage for his series in this book. The world feels complete and full. The rules of the dungeon are laid out comprehensively. Carl’s ability to gasp them quicker than most helps the viewer get wrapped up in the book, as well as understand what is happening at all times. The story is compelling, the action is exciting, and you can tell there is drama bubbling under the surface. The book leaves you burning to find answers to the questions it leaves, as it should. I have recommended this to many people, and will recommend it to many more
