What made the experience of listening to Fade to Black the most enjoyable?
The narration was very good, Christopher J Mayer did an excellent job. The characters voices were all distinct and the female voice were pretty good. The narration was well paced and consistent fron beginning to the end.
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
It was a bit confusing at first since the story moves between following different characters and there are several story lines that all come together at the end of the book, they were a bit hard to follow at first.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
No I didn’t and that’s why I’m only giving this book 3 starts. The book is enjoyable, but it didn’t grab me and make me want more.
Any additional comments?
The characters worked well and the world Sue Duff has created is an interesting one. I enjoyed the book and I’m glad I listened to it, but it’s not going to make it onto my list of favorites.
