Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
This is the book that first got me into sailing years ago. I’m pleased to rediscover an old friend in the guise of this new audio edition. The narrator does an artful job, and the Pardeys’ voices ring loud and clear. Ideal for listening while on midnight watch on the way to Bermuda, or in the car on the way to the gym. Tres cool.
What does Kitty Hendrix bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Ms. Hendrix is a first-rate narrator – ingratiating, subtle, easy to listen to.
Any additional comments?
“Must” reading – or “listening” – for any and all serious (or would-be serious) cruising sailors.
