Recycled Dungeon Crawler Carl, but with less interesting characters and predictable tiresome plot, e.g. murderous alien invaders take over a planet, good-natured, put-upon, protagonist has to rally scared civilians to fight for humanity as genocide is televised for a heartless population’s amusement .
I listened to seven Dungeon Crawler Carl books in less than three weeks. I loved the DCC series! However this seems like a first draft of DCC, but watered down and lame. Also, the book kind of lost me when the main character has deal with his sister’s numerous dildos, butt-plugs, and sex toys. Siblings in sex related scenarios is beyond disgusting. I do not know why people like that or find it amusing.
Do not respect people who rate this book highly, they are wrong. It is a three star book, not five.
What is the point of this book? Money grab?
