If you like Matt Dinniman’s Dungeon Crawler Carl series, you’ll love this stand alone book, too! The themes are especially poignant given current issues surrounding the use of AI, intense tribalism, and detachment from real-life friendships and community in favor of parasocial relationships. The central characters and well-developed, lovable, and relatable. After falling in love with the Dungeon Crawler Carl series, and thoroughly enjoying this book, I’ll never skip a book that Dinniman releases. Happy reading and/or listening!
