- Would you listen to A Dead Bore again? Why?
- Absolutely! Wonderful writing, delightful narration = a second, third or fourth listen
- What was one of the most memorable moments of A Dead Bore?
- So many. I really enjoyed the witty writings of Ms. Cobb South. Her characters are rich and the detailed descriptions of scenes along with the performance of Mr. Froomkin makes this a fantastic listen. It was like a John Pickett comes to Downton Abbey.
- Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
- Yes and No. So many witty characters and scenes, I didn’t want to pause the storytelling. But I was also delighted to unpause as soon as possible.
- Any additional comments?
- Narrator, Mr. Froomkin’s performance was such a delight. He is a wonderful storyteller. Mr. Froomkin is articulate, his grasp for the various characters was on par 110%. Loved his performance of both male and female voices. I must also note, that I would be extremely disappointed if the John Pickett series was narrated by anyone else. He has spoiled me! Now, to purchase the first John Pickett audiobook.
