Possible Spoilers:
Jessa Talbot is pulled from the ranks of corporate employees to handle a special assignment from the chairman: to provide immediate care for his new baby son and set up ongoing arrangements. Jessa has spent years caring for and raising her 4 younger siblings and needs the financial bonuses. You know what they say about sounding too good to be true?
This is a very small pack of created wolves and Finn, aka Oscar Finnegan Dean III, a scion of the Dean automotive company and current chairman, was on an archeological dig with his younger brother when he fell on a skeleton bone that was unearthed. Finn was changed and believes he killed his younger brother and changed his own friends. Unfortunately, there is an evil shifter who is head of an existing pack who has fixated on them due to their own power, his desire for power, their wealth and, notably, their ability to reproduce.
Brown has a pleasant voice but his occasional odd pacing threw off the story for me. It was almost as if he was reading a news report at times.
