I don’t like how he cuddles the child as retired military I served in the Navy and army and I would never cuddle my child the way he cuddles him I understand from a parental view why he’s doing it but in the end you can’t shield him I understand that he wants to get to his other children but at the shop he should have took care of the problem right then and there he waited until somebody was in danger and which is understandable he seems like a really good person I hope the next few books are better the burst I was not impressed with at all
