This book is brilliant! For WWII Vets, it tells their stories and the story of America’s greatest generation. For other veterans, it shows they aren’t alone in their experiences and there is life after war. For the history buff, it’s a goldmine of first-account true stories. And for everyone else, it’s filled with things school probably didn’t teach you. As a vet himself and someone who honors those who came before him, Biggio was able to preserve the memories these men had forever. I can’t wait to read the 2nd book!
