the 1st book is interesting and fun. the writing has its weak moments but was overall pretty entertaining and funny. Did a good job mixing humor well into the action.

Book 2 was weaker but still had some interesting ideas and was more or less entertaining.

Book 3 is literally the fantasy of right wing zealots and how the imagine the left to be if left to their own devices. it starts with a hard to ignore intro that makes you wonder if maybe it was just the author getting his feelings out before getting into the story. it was not. it was tone setting and just keeps getting wo4se and worse until he literally has the “woke” town crying because one of the protagonists stops a man from beating a slave. I could not finish the book. if you have an elderly relative that spews this sort of nonsense they would literally smile th selves to sleep to this drivel every night.
