Everleigh’s a fantastic PR person, who lives in Chicago. She’s offered an incredible opportunity to earn an unbelievable salary at the end of the year if she agrees to move to Las Vegas to take on a single, new, but unnamed client. She’s leery because she absolutely does not want a sports figure as a client. But she thinks it may benefit her longer term career plans so she agrees to give up her 30+ clients and move to Las Vegas. And finds out that the client is bad boy quarterback who has been traded to Las Vegas, against his wishes.
They clash, he refuses to change. Then they start to realize that their strong feelings start to change to a different type of passion.
Both have had losses. His have been buried and hers are newly discovered. Their personal lives continue to be troublesome. When he runs into something nearly insurmountable, their relationship crumbles.
This book has explicit sex and language so it’s not for everyone.
Well written and the story is more complex than most romances. I really enjoyed the book. I was given an early version of the audio book, thanks to Valentine PR. Both narrators were wonderful
