By chapter 9 I was bored and uninterested, I think I only made it that far because Phil Thron is a great narrator. The story is basically a video game skill tree upgrade instructional. The whimsy is a little ridiculous. “The bubble gum module accepted the toaster heating element to upgrade my kneecaps and I was able to run a million fafillion miles an hour”
