The other reviewers are either bots or have brain damage because not one of their notes ring true. A is for accuracy which this series just does not have – the author clearly doesn’t know much about anything. He improvised rather than doing basic research and it shows. The characters are as ignorant as their creator but you run with it because he constantly tells the reader that they are competent (tells but never shows). The dialogue is also barely tolerable – the text conversations are laughably bad. Character development is meh for the men, but the women are about as poorly written as they can be. Damsels all – not even one of them can defend herself which is great because the author desperately wants to prove that his male characters are noble, self sacrificing heros. It’s fairly nauseating on the whole. If you love world war z because of its incredibly developed cast of characters please do yourself a favor and avoid this series like the plague.
