I absolutely loved these characters. They were so well written and developed. This was the slowest of slow burns. Overall it was a great book. I think it would have been 5 stars for me had I read it instead of listened to it. Joel Leslie is not it for me, it always sounds like he’s in pain or on the verge of tears.
