This was an intense story both emotionally and as a thriller. Aaron is troubled from his past. Kenny was part of Aaron’s troubled past through the situation with his parents. I enjoyed the danger and suspense that laced their relationship. Important note as to why this was only 4 stars on the story for me – One MC is intimate with a non-MC and that is just a personal no for me when reading a romance. Piers Ryman’s narration really gave this the depth it deserved.
