I was fully prepared to dislike this book. When it started off with letters, I realized the entire book would be letters back-and-forth, and I did not like the idea. Silly me. Her ability to craft the characters, their world, their personalities, and thoughts through letter writing is astounding. I fell in love with the character of Sybil, and so many others. I wish I knew her.
