I enjoyed this story immensely. I felt the author, N.E. Conneely has written a wonderful story, filled with intrigue, great detail, with an interesting plot. I really feel bad about all the bad reviews from others. I thought it was written perfectly. I can’t believe we read the same book. I was impressed by all the characters and magic that the story involves. I suppose that if it wasn’t a story that people enjoyed reading then they definitely should consider listening to it. The world the author has created in interesting and I was intrigued throughout the entire story. I really hope the author will add her other stories to Audible. I would love to listen to the other stories in this series. I highly recommend this story and if you didn’t enjoy reading it then I insist that you should listen to it. It’s wonderfully written and I wish the 2nd book was available to listen to now.
The narrator Jeff Hays did an exceptional job with the narration of this story. In all honesty the performance was so perfect that I’m not sure if Jeff is male or female. I know this might sound offensive but I mean no disrespect. The female voices and even the male accents are done to perfection. I guess this is why I have a hard time trying to figure out the sex of the narrator. Jeff Hayes has no problem with the voices and distinguishing each characters accents and making it easy to understand who’s speaking throughout the story. Jeff brought this story to life, I felt as if I was there, in the story watching everything as I listen to the story. This is a story that I highly recommend. I received this audio in exchange for an honest review.
